I think this comic is finally coming into its own. Not as mayhem oriented as comic number 2, this one has a more serine, and more refined sense of mayhem to it, but then it seems like Robert Downy Junior (RDJ) is the linking thread throughout the whole comic book this time. This one is good, this one is worth reading, this one is worth finding, and yes, they finally started branching out into some of the other ways that people can make money doing comic books. They finally have a hypno coffee t-shirt and I need to get one. If you see one, I wear an XL, thanks. That is if you really feel like buying me off, after all, this is the third time I have read this comic, and have fallen in love with the series.
Where is the fanboy love people? Nah, seriously I found the t-shirt online and as soon as I have the money I am going to order it. Can’t bribe the comic book reviewer.
Kitty and Batz is probably the most fun but weirdly awesome comic book you can read, and as we head into the third one in the series, it is starting to take on a life of its own. The usual folks are here, demons, hypno coffee, a surprise walk on by Robert Downy Junior, a couple of dead bodies, and some pretty creepy scenes to go along with all that. This is one of those comics that just clicks for me – and book three is no exception to this.
Kitty and Batz, for the love of everything you hold dear get a copy, read it, cherish it, and wonder why these two are not locked up forever.
The art is good, the colors the usual neon day glow style, with a lot of black. The framing on this one is nicely done, and fits in with the story telling. Overall the best rating I can give this is five of five stars, I wish I could change our voting system at times, but then there it is. Sorta like having one amp that turns up to 11, Kitty and Batz is that comic book. Over the top, cruel, mean, coffee, mayhem, death, the odd assortment of demons and you get the picture. It is awesome, now to find it and get yourself a copy as soon as you see it. These are limited runs, and once they are gone, well then there it is, you are stuck with the electronic version.
