Comics Forge Edition – hey we sponsored a comic book and finally have it up on line. You can purchase it on Amazon right here or over on Ebay right here depending on which way you want to purchase it. We also sold a couple over to Pete’s Records and Comics so he might have some in stock, but then again he might not. Just depends on how fast they sell out over there. The cool part is that we are finally getting to the point where things might look like they might turn out ok in the Zenescope Godstorm universe, but you know this is Zenescope; few things ever turn out all right. This comic is no exception, because weird things happen all the way through this comic book that makes this one pretty cool. Of course I am biased, we sponsored this comic book, and the only way you are going to get this puppy is through us, or through Pete. The blurb on the packaging says that this is going to be one action packed comic book, so buckle your seat belt kids, it is time to get in the car and let us drive for a little bit.
When the Being uses the soul of the Fallen God Venus to open a portal to the Shadowlands, Zeus leads the gods of legends into a battle for the fate of the world. Zeus is defeated, his daughter, Heather is murdered, and the being has unleashed hordes of horrific monsters on Earth. While Sela, Helsing, and the other hunters are locked in battle with the unleashed monsters, Zeus has gathered the gods to deliver an ultimatum. It is never good when Gods get angry enough to deliver an ultimatum, so sit back pop some popcorn, put your feet up, and enjoy the drama.
This is an interesting cross of both the Godstorm series, with our dear friends from the entire Grimm Fairy Tales Universe. It is nice to see everyone crossing into each other’s turf to have a bit of a battle, some good grog, and otherwise check out the scenery while kicking monsters butts. Which is why we sponsored this puppy, where else are you going to get a story line that features hot women, hot men, hot gods, and cute little puppies. Ok forget the puppies, there really are not any in here. As always Pasquale has done an amazing job with the cover, and Pat has done a good job with the story line. It is really interesting to see what happens when you can mix and match and end up with something wonderful.
I am going to rate this puppy 5 of 5 stars, of course I am. The only place you can get this is online at Ebay or Amazon via Comics Forge and its sales department Alternating Reality. You will want to get this one as not just is it a Zenescope Limited edition; it is a pretty kick ass story as well.
