Already well over a quarter of the way to their goal, Andrew and all the other amazing people at GrayHaven are slowly inching closer and closer to putting many new, great comics on our shelves.
Their Phase Two initiative began a few weeks back with the release of the mini-series by Erica J Heflin and Elias Martins titled Mother and Son. Since then they have announced many big names coming on board for new titles, such as one of my favourites Sterling Gates, several current editors pushing titles, and an adaptation for Run Like Hell by Elena Andrews and George Amaru. They anticipate to release not only new mini-series’, one-shots, and on goings but also print releases of some of their current web series including Kid Robo and Further Adventures of a Super Annuated Adventurer.
Like many campaigns on Kickstarter, there are some great prizes! They are offering everything from the chance to have your own title reviewed by one of their many talents, to sketches and rare variants. This is some prime loot and all for just helping out those who help all of us out. GrayHaven has been known for it’s releases of The Gathering and the allowance for new creators to tell their tales alongside the pros. This openness to new ideas and names alone makes them a worthy cause for your buck.
The announcements of titles can be found here and trust me; there is something for everyone.
To donate to their Kickstarter and get yourself some great prizes and find out more about their plans for Phase Two, you can check it out and donate here. Every dollar counts, so give what you can and help out a company that plans to do great and original things in the current comic industry.
