I’m just going to come out and say that everything before this, every drop of blood spilled in Bergen, was definitely the calm before the storm. Gerda has been replaced; thank god because you can only have so many wet dreams before it gets uber creepy, and Dale has found himself working alongside Agent’s Craine and Shoenfeld. His mission is simple: infiltrate the Feral cult in Green George and leak as much information possible.

So, with his new ‘wifey’ Pia in hand and an ego that’s ready to blast down some Feral freaks – he welcomes himself to his temporarily new home with some booze, sex and violence.

We have witnessed a major change in Dale over the last 7 issues. We once held before us a law officer who would do anything to help solve the case of his dead friend. Sure he was a little promiscuous and slept with his buddies gal but, no ones perfect right? Flash forward to the now, you wouldn’t even know it was the same guy – if it weren’t for those sparkling blues that is. His mannerisms, expressions and overall essence have drastically gone from hopeful, harsh spoken sex addict too a full blown testosterone and feral machine. His anger can become uncontrollable but, lucky for him he’s come across many a 50 Shades of Grey’ fan, so, getting laid is not so much an option as much as an inevitability.

Yep, Lapham is never one to disappoint in terms of character development, addictive plots, and teaming up with fabulous artists.

Gabriel Andrade is a force to be reckoned with. The amount of smooth movement he is capable of showing is enticing to say the least. This guy even made a man lazily stretch and it still excited me! The interiors have been consistent and truly twisted, just as it should be. Something I have failed to mention though, is his eloquent and terrorizing cover imagery. He manages to push out several quality, eye catching covers for each issue, each month. This issues hosts some great ones, my favourite being the wrap around.

I’ve said it before and I will said it again but, this time louder and in a much deeper voice that will haunt your dreams if you do not listen: Pick this series up! Unless you are weak of stomach or dislike horror material, then stay very far away.

9 regenerated faces out of 10. Wonderfully horrific.

I’ve been digging this series. Lapham always manages to spin a good tale, and Andrade’s art is just awesome.
