A horror festival, like Halloween all over again, Crypticon happens to be one of the longest running Seattle Horror conventions out there, and we are going! Crypticon Seattle sponsored last year’s Zombie walk which was a lot of fun to attend. This ought to be fun, mostly because they have some awesome guests this year, including the chief killer from house of a 1000 corpses, Bill Moseley. That is probably one of my all time favorite horror movies.
Crypticon is May 27 through the 29th, Memorial Day Weekend (yeah that is kind of funny in its own right) at the Hilton Seattle Airport & Conference Center down on International Avenue. You should stop by and see us as we will have an amazing collection of horror comics, books, and other trivia to keep things entertaining. I have so got to get involved with Zombie Tag as well, if you get caught you turn into a zombie and have to eat brains.
We will be showing off one of the hottest new writers in horror as well, with a special deal with their publisher we will be taking in many copies of “Let It Bleed” from S. L. Schmitz. An amazing reminder of 1980’s horror and punk rock scene. If you have not checked it out yet, see what they have to say about it on Amazon.
Otherwise, this should be a fun convention and we look forward to seeing you there and saying hello. Standard rules apply; it’s no fun unless it is blood splattered.
lol Kidnap Bill Moseley for me? I have a million and one things to ask him.
you and me both.
